The DEZ Compact PCB Loader automatically feeds bare PCBs from a magazine into an SMT production line while requiring less line length than a standard multi-position magazine loader.
Its compact magazine arrangement is designed for factories that need automatic board loading but have limited space at the beginning of the line. Four models support PCB sizes from 50 × 80 mm to 530 × 460 mm, with selectable magazine pitch, pneumatic positioning and SMEMA communication.
The machine can connect to a PCB surface cleaning machine, solder paste printer or other compatible downstream SMT equipment.

The Compact PCB Loader is installed at the beginning of the SMT process. An operator places a compatible magazine into the loading position, after which the machine indexes the magazine slots and feeds the PCBs towards the downstream equipment one at a time.
The loader waits for the downstream-ready signal before releasing the next PCB. When the current magazine sequence is completed, the machine moves the magazine according to the configured upper and lower magazine-handling cycle.
This automated process reduces repetitive manual board loading and creates a controlled supply of PCBs to the next production stage.
Process Flow: PCB Magazine → Slot Indexing → Individual PCB Feeding → Downstream SMT Equipment

The primary reason to select this loader is its reduced machine length. Depending on the model, the listed machine length ranges from 850 to 1,300 mm, compared with 1,330 to 1,800 mm for comparable standard DEZ loader models.
This makes the Compact PCB Loader suitable for production areas where a standard multi-position loader would make the complete SMT line too long.
The compact structure does, however, provide fewer magazine positions than the Standard Magazine Loader. It is therefore most appropriate when saving floor space is more important than extending unattended magazine capacity.
The actual space saving should be checked using the selected model and complete production-line drawing.

We have worked with

A Compact PCB Loader automatically removes PCBs from a magazine and feeds them into an SMT production line. It uses a shorter machine structure than a standard multi-position magazine loader.
The existing specification lists one upper and one lower magazine position. The exact full-magazine and empty-magazine operating sequence should be confirmed in the quotation.
Four models support boards from 50 × 80 mm up to 530 × 460 mm.
It uses a reduced magazine arrangement compared with the Standard Magazine Loader. Whether it should be marketed as a “single magazine loader” depends on how the upper and lower positions function during operation and should be confirmed by DEZ engineering.
The listed feeding time is approximately six seconds. Actual time depends on PCB length, magazine pitch, indexing travel and downstream machine response.
It may be possible for a secondary-side SMT process, but component height, magazine clearance and the PCB pushing position must be checked. The standard application is bare-PCB loading.
Yes, provided the conveyor height, transfer direction, PCB orientation, transfer gap and SMEMA signals match.
This machine feeds boards from slotted PCB magazines. A vacuum loader separates bare boards from a vertical stack using suction cups or a vacuum lifting mechanism.
The Compact PCB Loader is designed to reduce machine length. An L-Type Loader uses a perpendicular or 90-degree equipment arrangement for corner and non-linear production layouts.
PCB range, magazine dimensions, indexing pitch, conveyor height and transfer direction can be reviewed for customisation. Supply a PCB sample, magazine drawing and production-line layout.
