SMT Nozzle Cleaning & Maintenance

Dust and adhesive residue can restrict the suction passage inside SMT placement nozzles. The nozzle may still look clean from the outside while producing low-vacuum alarms, component mispicks or dropped parts during machine movement.
Automatic nozzle cleaning removes internal contamination without inserting needles or metal wires into fine nozzle openings. Cleaned nozzles can then be dried, inspected and vacuum-tested before returning to the placement machine.

DEZ-C700 Automatic Nozzle Cleaning Machine cleans compatible placement nozzles with purified water and compressed air. The standard tray holds 30 nozzles. Three jets clean the nozzle passages row by row without requiring solvent or manual wire cleaning.

The machine supports compatible nozzles used for 0402, 0201, 01005 and 03015 components. Nozzle brand, body diameter, length and mounting structure must be checked before confirming tray compatibility.

Is the DEZ-C700 Compatible with Our Nozzles?

Compatibility depends on the nozzle body diameter, length and mounting structure. Provide nozzle models, dimensions or samples before ordering.

The standard tray holds 30 compatible nozzles per batch.

The machine removes dust and compatible deposits from the internal suction passage. It cannot repair worn, cracked, bent or chipped nozzles.

It supports compatible nozzles used for components including 0402, 0201, 01005 and 03015.

The DEZ-C700 uses industrial purified water. Tap water is not recommended because minerals can remain inside fine nozzle openings.

The machine requires a 220 VAC power supply, 0.5–0.6 MPa compressed air and industrial purified water.

The nozzles should be completely dried, visually inspected and vacuum-tested before reuse.

The interval depends on nozzle use, contamination, component type and pickup performance. Cleaning can be scheduled during product changeovers or when vacuum and mispick data begin to deteriorate.
