The DEZ SMT L-Type PCB Magazine Unloader receives PCBs or assembled boards from the end of an SMT production line and loads them sequentially into a magazine.
Its L-shaped magazine-transfer layout is arranged at 90 degrees to the PCB production flow. This reduces the machine length required along the SMT line, making it suitable for factories where the line-end installation area is limited.
Four model sizes are available for PCBs up to 530 × 460 mm. Conveyor direction, transfer height, magazine pitch and control-panel configuration can be matched to the production line.
At the end of an SMT production process, finished PCBs must be collected without interrupting upstream production or relying on repeated manual handling.
The L-Type PCB Magazine Unloader receives each arriving PCB on its internal conveyor. The board is aligned with an available magazine slot and transferred into the magazine. The magazine then indexes to the next programmed pitch position for the following PCB.
When all selected magazine slots are filled, the machine completes the magazine changeover sequence and prepares the next magazine for PCB collection.
A conventional inline magazine unloader normally arranges its PCB transfer and magazine handling sections along the same general production direction. The L-Type Unloader places the magazine-transfer section at a 90-degree angle to the PCB flow. This changes the machine footprint and can reduce the distance occupied along the main SMT line.

The existing DEZ configuration provides one upper and two lower magazine staging positions.
Pneumatic clamps at the upper and lower sections hold the working magazine in position so that its slots remain aligned with the PCB transfer path.

Automatic Magazine Collection at the End of PCB Lines
Collects assembled boards after they have passed through the reflow and cooling process. View reflow soldering machines
Receives inspected PCBAs from an AOI system or downstream conveyor for magazine storage.
Reduces the inline length required where the production line terminates near a wall, aisle or other equipment.
Supports different magazine and pitch configurations for changing PCB formats, subject to confirmed machine adjustment ranges.
Can collect completed PCBAs from compatible downstream conveyors where the product and magazine dimensions meet the machine configuration.
May be used to place PCBAs into magazines before an offline inspection, testing or secondary assembly process.
The current DEZ specification lists one upper and two lower magazine positions. The exact working and changeover sequence should be confirmed for the selected configuration.
The machine receives an incoming PCB, aligns the selected magazine slot with the conveyor and transfers the board into the slot. The magazine then indexes to the next programmed pitch.
Standard pitch selections are 10, 20, 30 and 40 mm. A customer-specified pitch can also be configured.
The listed PCB insertion cycle is approximately six seconds. Actual line throughput also depends on PCB arrival timing, transfer distance, magazine indexing and upstream communication.
The existing specification lists an approximate changeover time of 30 seconds. The final cycle should be confirmed according to the selected magazine sequence and configuration.
Four models cover listed PCB ranges from 50 × 80 mm up to 530 × 460 mm.
Yes, provided the PCB dimensions, weight, edge clearance and top- and bottom-side component clearances match the approved machine and magazine configuration.
Yes. The existing product specification lists a SMEMA-compatible interface for communication with upstream SMT equipment.
Yes, when the conveyor height, transfer direction, rail position, PCB dimensions and communication signals are compatible.
The machine is available for left-to-right or right-to-left PCB flow. The required direction should be confirmed before production.
The current product information lists an LED membrane panel and a touchscreen as two available control-panel configurations. The quotation should identify which panel is included in the selected machine.
Yes. The existing configuration includes automatic fault-code detection and display.
The conveyor height, transfer direction, magazine pitch and certain mechanical or control details can be configured according to the PCB, magazine and line layout.
Yes. Customers should ideally send both the PCB/PCBA and the actual magazine so that transfer, alignment, clearance and indexing can be tested together.
