The DEZ Standard PCB Magazine Loader automatically feeds PCBs from magazines into an SMT production line.
Installed at the beginning of the line, it replaces repeated manual PCB loading and supplies boards individually to a solder paste printer, PCB cleaning machine, marking system or other downstream equipment.
Its three-position magazine design supports continuous PCB supply while reducing operator intervention during magazine changes. Five machine sizes are available for PCBs up to 610 × 460 mm, making the loader suitable for both standard PCB production and large-panel assembly.
The loader positions a selected magazine slot at the PCB transfer height. When the downstream machine indicates that it is ready, the feeding mechanism moves one PCB from the magazine onto the production-line conveyor.
After the PCB has left the magazine, the lifting platform indexes to the next configured slot. This sequence repeats until the active magazine has been processed.
The machine then changes magazine position according to the configured upper- and lower-magazine sequence.
Process Flow: Magazine Positioning → Slot Alignment → PCB Feeding → Downstream Transfer → Magazine Indexing
This process replaces repeated manual PCB loading and creates a controlled supply of boards to the downstream production equipment.

The beginning of an SMT line directly affects every downstream process.
If PCBs are supplied too slowly, the solder paste printer and placement machines must wait. If boards are released too quickly, they may accumulate between machines.
The Standard PCB Magazine Loader establishes a controlled PCB supply according to downstream demand. Its approximate six-second feeding cycle is suitable for common SMT production requirements, while SMEMA communication prevents the loader from feeding when the next machine is unavailable.

We have worked with

DEZ can configure the PCB Magazine Loader according to your:
If PCBs are supplied too slowly, the solder paste printer and placement machines must wait. If boards are released too quickly, they may accumulate between machines.
Optional requirements such as touchscreen control, custom indexing pitch, special PCB handling and production-data integration can be reviewed during project planning.
Send us your PCB drawing, magazine specifications and SMT line layout. Our engineers will recommend the correct loader size and interface configuration.
It automatically removes PCBs from a slotted magazine and feeds them individually into an SMT production line.
It is normally installed at the beginning of a production stage, before a PCB cleaner, solder paste printer, marking machine or conveyor.
Operators load complete PCB magazines into the machine instead of placing every PCB onto the conveyor by hand.
Five models support PCB sizes from 50 × 80 mm to 610 × 460 mm.
