The DEZ-C700 Automatic Nozzle Cleaning Machine removes dust, adhesive and component debris from SMT pick-and-place nozzles. Blocked nozzle openings reduce vacuum suction and can cause repeated pickup attempts, dropped components and placement alarms.
The machine holds up to 30 nozzles. Three cleaning jets process ten rows sequentially using purified water and compressed air. It is suitable for precision nozzles used with 0402, 0201, 01005 and 03015 components.
A nozzle can appear clean while dust or adhesive remains inside its suction passage. The resulting vacuum loss may be mistaken for a placement-head, vacuum-pump or feeder problem.
The C700 cleans the internal passage without inserting needles or metal wires into the nozzle opening. After cleaning, the nozzle can be tested again before replacement or further machine maintenance.
The operator inspects the nozzles for mechanical damage and loads compatible nozzles into the 30-position tray. After the tray is secured, the cleaning cycle is started through the touchscreen.
Three jets process the nozzles row by row. Purified water and compressed air remove contamination from the internal passages. Used water and particles are directed to the waste collection system.
After cleaning, the nozzles must be fully dried, inspected and tested for vacuum performance before returning to the placement machine.

Make sure the nozzle is completely dry and installed correctly. If the problem remains, inspect the tip for wear, deformation or cracks, then check the holder, O-ring, filter and placement-head vacuum path.
The nozzle may not align correctly with the cleaning jet, or the residue may not be water-soluble. Check tray compatibility before increasing pressure or repeating the cycle.
No. Minerals in tap water may remain inside the suction passage. Use industrial purified or properly filtered water.
No. Remaining moisture may affect vacuum readings or enter the placement head. Dry and inspect every nozzle before installation.

The nozzle may be bent or worn. Placement offsets may also come from feeder position, vision recognition, nozzle-centre calibration or placement-head alignment.
Move the suspected nozzle to another compatible head. If the problem follows the nozzle, clean or replace it. If the fault remains on the original head, inspect that head’s vacuum system.
Do not exceed the approved injection pressure. Hardened or water-insoluble adhesive may require another approved cleaning process rather than higher pressure.
Replace it when visible particles, discolouration or reduced cleaning performance appear. Clean the tank and drain at the same time.
